How Can We Work Together?

I am focusing my work on teaching opportunities, speaking and event facilitation, college essay assistance (and other writing/coaching opportunities), and pulpit supply for faith communities. Yes, it’s an eclectic combination, but take a look at my resume here as well as my endorsements and you’ll see I can do it!

  • I am an experienced teacher across multiple disciplines.

-I can lead sessions on the any of the world’s religions, different approaches to the study of religion, the meanings of religious holidays, and visits to sacred sites.
-I also have experience teaching ethics, especially in introducing the different ethical theories and concepts that have shaped our culture.
-I have experience teaching the intersection between religion and literature as well as general themes in religion and culture.

  • Looking for a speaker/facilitator for your next retreat or planning event? Contact me; we may be a great match! I have experience ranging from one-on-one mentoring all the way to keynoting and facilitating events.

People describe me as thoughtful, perceptive, supportive, and a good listener. Combining those skills with my unique background working with different disciplines, people from different points of view, and people from different ethnicities, and I often look at things from a different and helpful point of view.

  • Through my years of teaching courses in writing at the high school and college level, I have guided hundreds of students through the academic writing process and the college essay process. I can provide, either in person or virtually, effective and affordable tutoring with college essays as well as other subjects in the humanities.

  • I effectively combine my years of classroom-style writing coaching with years outside of the classroom; I know first-hand how important good writing is when it comes to both the academic and professional worlds.
